I have the ContiExtremeContact on my Grand Prix GTP. So far got about 34,000 miles out of them. Looks like I can still go another 5 thousand miles.

What's your main priority with those tires? I found the ContiExtremeContact tires to have phenominal snow grip, (best of any all-season tire I've ever used)... But they are a tad on the noisy side. Handling is pretty good, but steering resposne isn't as crisp as other UHP All/Season tires I've ran....

i just need a replacement tires, i dont do hard cornering or and intense driving so that isnt my main priority. if they last long and handle decent in the rain im happy.

I just replaced my ecstas with some conti's. What a deal that was. I cannot say how they compare to other tires as Ihad an expedition before this - so I'm not gonna go there with the whole apples to oranges thing.

I did go with the next wider size than the stockers (not sure what width at the moment, but not wide enough to warrant 9" rims for you flamers...lol)

I have no problems with the tires, and do notice the increased handling. Granted, there are probably better tires out there, but for the price - you can't complain much at all.

They were GREAT tires. I had two sets on my TL. Got nearly 50k miles out of them before reaching the wear indicator lines. If you live anywhere that there is snow, they give nice traction, at least during the first 30k of wear.
