Anyone interested in a NEW set of A-Spec rims? -not a private sale

Hey guys,
I've been working with Tim at HondaAcuraWorld.com to get me an A-Spec suspension setup for my new 06 TL. I don't really want/need the wheels due to a long commute, but am certainly interested in the suspension.

Tim has commited to split an A-Spec set for me if I can find a buyer for the wheels. I believe he sells the whole A-spec setup for $1900. The suspension would go for $692.

If someone ou there is looking for a set of NIB A-Spec rims for $1200, please get with me so we can both get what we want without buying what we don't want.

Thanks.

Actually, if you wanted tires, I'm sure Tim could set you up cheap, and your rims WOULD show up with tires. I would expect at least another $800 though for tires. $2K is still not bad at all for new shoes all aorund.

and yes, the prices I'm quoting is "shipped" price, so shipping, is and always be free from HAW.

Did you not like the Yokos? Why the change to the Proxes?

Nope, a moderator blew the thread away... Tim nor I have any idea why.
That deal still stands for those interested, just give a call.

Trancemission took the thread down because there didn't seem to be any interest in the buy. After having the poll up for a week, 41 people said they were interested in the wheels and 36 people in the suspension. However, when it came time to place an order, only 4 people wanted the suspension and 1 wanted the wheels. The wheels and suspension come together as a kit and Tim will not sell the suspension without a matching person to buy the wheels.

I emailed Tim and as of today he said he still has no one interested in the wheels so he can't offer the suspension to those of us who wanted it. Like Kennedy said, the deal will still stand all you need to do is email Tim at hondacuraworld@aol.com. He was doing us a big favor and was trying to help all of us out. Where all the people who expressed an interest in the wheels are I don't know. These were good prices for both that may not come around again.

Again, if you are serious about wanting the wheels, let him know. I believe they were the sparkle silver '06 wheels. There was a picture up in the thread that is now gone however I'm sure Tim can send you a picture if you want to see them.

I just e-mailed Tim apropos the wheels. However,I'm only interested if they are the non-glitzy gun metal color.Otherwise I'll be in the market for aftermarket wheels.

The wheels arent the non-glitzy gun metal color. Its the Sparkle silver color which is similiar to the OEM 17 color

Whatjones, you'll need the "sparkle silver" = chromed A-spec wheels, as they're the only set to come with TPMS sensors.

Let's work this. If you're ready for the wheels, I'm ready for the suspension.
Let me know if you're committed, call Tim and give him your info. I'll call Friday and give him mine and he can place that order.

Xtin -

Have you had the Toyos in the snow yet? I'm still on the EL42s (not too much longer) and am wondering if I should go with new Summer only and get a 2nd set of Winter shoes.

Yes and they were great. We got 22 inches on 2-11 and they handled it just great!

If you need summer tires, I can sell you my new Yokos AVS100s that Acura sells with the ASPEC rims..they are just sitting in my garage

So you mean that the sparkle silvers are chrome wheels? I saw the pic Tim took of the sparkle silvers and it doesnt look chrome to me. And I hope its not chrome because i dont want chrome.

Sorry, but I'm planning to buy both the wheels and suspension. By the way, can you give me the phone # to place the order? Do I talk to Tim about placing the order or someone else...

WhatJones...
Call Tim at 1-888-RAY-LAKS

it's a dealer in NY. They run www.hondacuraworld.com. Good price on accessories there. Get everything you need from him if you like.

I just spent $2K there outfitting my TL.

Suspension and wheel are all I have left. I'll wait on the wheels just a bit.
