I installed the A-Spec suspension in my 04 6MT this past June. I got an alignment immediately after and everything was spot-on, including camber (it was within the modified A-spec tolerance range). I just got through rotating my tires for the first time after that install and noticed some cupping on the inner rears.

Anybody else with A-Spec (or other lowering suspension) notice any cupping or other abnormal wear?

I had an alignment done 2 weeks after the install of Comptech springs. 1" drop.

Set the toe to "0" but the camber was a lot out of spec. Have some cupping on that side on the rear.. Camber kit going in next week then realign.

I was told if the toe was set to near zero even with the camber at -2.5 it wouldn't wear .. well it did .. I caught it early.

^ I had my camber at -2.5 in the rears for over 3 months and had no abnormal tire wear both in the front and the rears. The key is good toe.

Toe can be dead on, but if the camber is out the tires will wear.

I have the ASPEC suspension, and as long as I keep it aligned, I have no abnormal wear.

Mine didn't show wear for the first few months either until I started doing holiday highway miles with stuff in the trunk then from what I understand that also adds to the negative camber and alters the toe.

I did my alignment within a few days of the install and toe was set at 0. Maybe worth a re-check. Else, I might get a camber adjustment kit? Is the search working here yet? What kit is popular?

I wouldn't think so either, but my tire wear suggests otherwise

maybe u should go to another shop and have them redo it... it doesnt sound to right.... for a aspec drop u shouldnt need a camber kit at all. ASPEC = STOCK

I've had my A-spec suspension on for about 20,000 miles and I have no abnormal tire wear.

have not read the thread here, but my answer is if you got an alignment, with or without a camber kit, and the tires are wearing funny, you got a BUM alignment. Needs to be done again.
