Am I jacking it right?
OK.. skip the way I named this thread lol..
so my 'usual' method of jacking the car up is with the following tools:
2 ton lift jack with jack stands as pictured below:
as per the manual, I jack it up along the jack points along the side...so once I got it jacked to where I want it.. how do you slip in the jack stand? and/or where do you put it?
or am I doing this correct? cuz I think I should be jacking up from front or rear and when high enough, slip the jack stands underneath the side metal areas.

thanks..i'll test tonight if I can jack that high with my present floor jack. gotta be enough to slip in the jackstands...and that is the other question, where do they go? on the metal where the hoist goes?
EDIT: never mind, it says that on the manual scan above.

Yea get a Pittsburgh 2.5 ton floor jack for less than 100.00. Its heavy as shit but its a low profile jack with a high lift height.
It is also wide based so it distributes the weight on the floor in case you have weak surfaces.
The Aluminum one was ideal but they didn't have one in stock when I went to buy mine. I have 3 jacks now, but I do engine swaps and tranny stuff. So having a couple back up jacks is nice when installing an engine by yourself.
