20's

Just got X2O Tricks. 20x7.5 with Nitto 225/35/20. I had a little bit of rubbing in the back, trimmed the plastic and no problems yet. Just thought I'd put this out there for anyone looking for 20's. I'll get some pics up in the next couple days.

They are the only 20's that come in 7.5(that i know of). So I didn't have much of a choice. As soon as i get my hands on a digital camera i'll post some pics.

It's funny when people care about the size more then the design of the rim. Please post some pics when you can.

It has nothing to do with size over design. Everone has the own opinions, likes and dislikes. I personally do not like many rims i see on cars that are on this site. I don't offer my negative comments, i just posted this info for anyone who is interested in 20's not for negative comments. Furthermore i would never drop my car, i don't like the way the car rides (like ****) or the way it looks. Finally, don't judge it before you see how it looks. I'm sure the doubters will be surprised, they look hot and the car does not need to be dropped.

Simmer down my friend. Nobody is hatin' on you. They are just giving their own opinion. If you don't want to hear the good (and the bad) then I suggest not posting. But we do want to see some pics!

u dont like the way the car rides when its dropped but you got 20's? dude your ride is going to suffer like hell. your going to feel every bump and crack on the road. also, u dont liek the way it looks dropped? thats funny because your car must look like a 4x4. also, i dont doubt you. im sure you put those ugly a$$ wheels on your tl, and i dont odubt that it looks ugly... i KNOW it does.

I think we need to chill and respect each others rides and likes. The person didn't want an opinion, they just wanted to let others know that they have 20x7.5 rims and the rubbing was eliminated with the plastic piece cut off.

Now, had this person's subject line read "How do you like my 20's?", then, fire away.

So relax and wait for the pics.

Yo rock on with those wheels. I don't think they're ugly I just don't do chrome. But I also don't like the way lowered cars ride, but I LOVE the way it looks. I had my previous car lowered and I hated the ride. I don't plan on lowering this car though unless I get some true coilovers. I was thinking 19's or 20's though, so lets see some pics.

FYI...of course the ride is going to suffer(duh) but it is not as bad as if the car was dropped. Also, the ride is not that bad, I live in NJ and I am in Brooklyn at least once a week and Staten Island at least twice a week and have had no problems. Obviously your driving habits need to change with a larger rim but adding a drop would only make it worse. And i would hold your comments of "4x4" until the pics are up.

CJITTY
Thanks for the comment, you said it better than I could have. I was just trying to be helpful not start an argument or debate on what rims (objectional) look better on the TL.

Pics should be up by Friday. for anyone interested.

just because you lower a car does not mean the ride will suffer. look at tein coilovers for example. some people say the ride is better than stock with those. with the comptech springs, the ride is almost exactly the same as stock and the handling is improved a lot. with hr oe springs, the drop is so minimal that the ride quality is not affected, and with 19's and 20's, the oe springs will definitely be a better choice than stock springs without making the ride quality worse.

as for 20's its not a smart move. the cons far outweigh the pros. your gas mileage will suffer, acceleration and performance in general will suffer, the brakes will warp easier than before and the speedometer will be off. pros? yea i got dubs... im a balla now. other than that what else is good about them?

dude, if ur afraid of flames, u shouldn't post, people are gonna express their opinions wether u want them to or not....so here goes mine.....a tl on 20s that isn't dropped....no matter what kinda wheels they are is gonna look like ****....second those wheels are ridiculously tacky.....third dropping a car has alot less effect on the quality of the ride than putting huge wheels on w/ rubber band tires, ur right if u dropped ur car it would really ride like ****....but even if u don't its still gonna ride bad....and one more thing....those wheels are gonna last u about a week in NY/NJ w/ all the potholes they have up there... a 1pc wheel that i'm sure isn't forged w/ tires that thin is gonna take one hit from one of those potholes and be done....however i would like to thank u for this thread it gave me a nice chuckle

why cant some of you guys just respect other people's ride...if your gonna voice your opinion a simple "not my thing" would suffice...and if you gonna tell him how bad it's gonna look and ride...you should atleast do it less agressively...

i agree, i dont think 20s without a drop will look that nice, but its not my car so whatever. beauty is in the eye of the beholder. and just cuz someone has 20s doesnt mean they r a baller, there r plenty of multipiece 19s that cost more than 20s

Yes sir, but I have noticed that alot of people on the board think that 20's would look ****ty on out cars when they really don't if they are done right.

yes, but neither of the ones you posted are done right the last one u posted... look at the wheels closely you can clearly tell they stick out more than they should. therefor, its not done right
