06 TPMS replacement question...

I searched around for threads but if this has already been discussed I apologize.

For about 3 months now, my front pass. side TPMS has been showing and incorrect 59 PSI while the rest show the correct ~30 psi.

After 10 or so minutes of driving, I get the "check TPMS" system error for the rest of the trip. Rinse and repeat every time I drive somewhere.

If I replace the (assumed) faulty front-right sensor, does anyone know if it will fix the overall system error? The dash notifications every single time I drive anywhere are driving me crazy.

Any input would be appreciated

Looking at this one, for the record...

I had a similar issue and replacing the sensor fixed the problem.
I purchased a similar looking tpms sensor but the tire dealer could not get it to sync with the display.
So I purchased the more expensive tpms sensor from the tire dealer and that is working fine.

Hey thanks,

Do you know if the first one you bought was a true OEM sensor? Or was it aftermarket?

Based on my research so far it appears that it can take a half hour or so for the sensors to sync up, so hopefully you didn't get taken for a ride by that dealer!
