Hi I got a 06 6spd I want to get the aspec suspension setup. I can't seem to find the part # for them. What part# will work the best? Thanks

search....there are a number of threads on this. i would know...i researched this already last year. the last 4 digits will be "202A" on the part number for the entire kit. that is the most recent part #.

I did search no one had a for sure answer. I tried to order part# 08w60-sep-202a from delray Acura they said that # was listed for a 07-08 base AT.

the part number you mention is the ONLY part number available for the TL now. that number superseded the previous 201A and 200A part number.

when i bought mine from curry acura last year this is what they told me. the parts guys are only programmed to tell you what their little box (computer) tells them. my dealer even said they dont' get paid to think, they only do what is asked or what the "book" says.

i have posted this response in a thread somewhere because someone had asked in an older thread.

all 3G aspec suspension kits fit in all 3G TLs. handling will improve in all cases. how the car sits will be very subtly different b/c of weight distribution, tranny weight and engine weight (base vs type-S). i say subtly b/c its neglible (we're talking maybe 100#'s of wt shift slightly fwd/back and then overall weight of vehicle). so spring rate will be slightly different. however acura has lumped all the base models together so now they only offer ONE suspension kit for the AT and the MT. and then ONE suspension kit for the type-s. its not like these things are flying off the shelves of dealers. on top of that only 5% of all base TL's were MT and how many of those are outfitted with aspec suspension. so acura's wallet leaned out MT vs AT and lumped them together. of course this is all conjecture and assumption.

the only way you are going to get a 04-06 MT kit....find one used. otherwise, brand new...you get the latest kit available (202A).

type-s will have slightly stiffer springs b/c of the 3.5L engine, so if you put that on the base...it may not sit as low as the base maybe 1/4" (total guess).

i'll PM a pic to you.

i installed the type-s aspec on my 06 tl and I got about a 1 inch drop =). I searched for the manual aspec for months and all the dealers I called said that it has been discontinued. I will post pictures once my car is clean =).

I bought my Type-S A/T A-Spec suspension from TmaX (guy above a few posts).

I definitely noticed the drop.
Yes, it's subtle. It won't lower you like lowering springs will.

It's funny because I remember people asking me "what are you dropped on GP?" haha
