Axle clicking
Does anyone have issues with BOTH axles clicking on a 05 automatic? Passenger side clicks more than the driverside. Only does it when it's cold outside. Does anyon know what the price to replace them both? I'm pretty confident that I could replace them myself but don'y know part numbers.

with OEM or aftermarket?? OEM will run about $8-900 installed at the dealer.
OEM axles run about $230-250 a piece. i had both replaced by my dealer (but under my MBI coverage for my insurance, since my warranty was expired). only cost me $250, insurance covered the rest.
some people have had good success with aftermarket, others...the axle goes bad in a year. so...up to you.

Wow! So you think a thinner grease should have been used instead of a thicker axle grease from the factory? I checked my boots and they were not split. Its just annoying to be sitting in your ride and everytime a sharp corner is made you hear that clicking noise. Reminds me of my ghetto 6th gen civic when the boots were leaking
