Wont start issue.. Different than most post on here..! Black/white little wire??
2004 118k AT so was swapping out ps res. and 2 oring fix when come to sucking out old juice went to start all lights come on no turn over lil click under hood all a sudden.. So checked all usual suspect fuses and tested for current all good battery took in to test perfect but ran for a lil charge anyway .. I dont have any hfl probs alt less than 60k saw that condition of starter was not so good corrosion and what not so went and got oem pos and neg new cables and an oem refurb starter jic was hopping to not need starter most saying the pos cable the culprit so put on new neg and started testing current buddy help with and reverse hooking up of the starter to confirm it works and it does just fine car started no prob.. tested to ignition switch no prob and checked and changed relays cutoff by foot panel.. but here where Im stuck when you test the flow from the "black n white" lil clip on wire goin to starter no juice NADA... any idea;s I saw just try the new pos cable anyway but that didnt have a new lil black white wire just hunky connect to the fusebox under hood and to starter.. buddy thinks even tho the ignition switch tested ok that it still may not be I dunno any chime ins would be appreciated

2004 118k AT..... So was swapping out power-steering tank and 2 o-ring fix. When come to sucking out old fluid I went to start the car... all lights come on dome dash etc... but no turn over.. just a Lil click under hood.. So checked all usual suspect fuses, and tested for current... all good! Battery took in to test.. perfect! but asked for a Lil charge anyway .. I don't have any HFL problems, alternator has less than 60k miles. Saw that condition of starter was not so good... corrosion and what not. So went and purchased OEM + and - new cables and an OEM refurbished starter just in case.. I was hoping to not need starter.. reading most threads blaming + cable the culprit. So I installed new - cable and started testing current.. A buddy helped with reverse hooking up of the starter to confirm it works and it does just fine.. The car started no problem.. tested the ignition switch.. no problem.. and checked and changed the relay cutoff by foot panel fuse box.. but where I'm stuck is.. when you test the flow from the "black n white" little clip on wire going to the starter.. no juice... meaning current ya know 12v stuff lol... NADA... any ideas? I think I should just try installing new + cable.. but that doesn't have a new Lil black/white wire...It only connects to the fuse box under hood and to starter.. My buddy thinks that even though the ignition switch tested OK.. that it still may be the culprit. I don't know... So in close I tested everything I have read up on to test my problem is the black/white wire clip to the starter has no current from ignition... any chime ins... that's when people responds with their own suggestions and ideas lol... would be appreciated

This might be even easier to read.

FIXED** or resolved.. I kept having a familiar feeling for those who ride you know how the bike has a cutoff while the kickstand is still down it just acts a certain way not mechanical so much.. So I remembered the AT cars have one too and buddy pointed out the shifter so I just ran the shifter thru N R D and back to park and it fired right up.. From what I understand that neutral switch usually doesn't give to many problems so it didn't come to mind. Also when you look at the FSM of the 04 on the circuit flow chart it doesn't say anything about it whereas on the 05 FSM it shows it so hope that lil bit of info helps in the next need of the infamous "car wont start legend" that the 3g TL's have. So in close the switch will occasionally get stuck.. which engages the kill to the clip wire to not receive signal from the starter, hence why I couldn't get any volt reading but once we ran thru the gears while non able to start it unjammed that neutral safety switch I think its called thus allowing current to the starter.
