Alright so i finally saved up enough to get some rims to set off my 08 NBP TL-S but now i have to make the tough decision on whether i want the Sevas S55 in Black with Chrome Lip, or just Chrome.... I think they both look so good, i just dont know which will look better, so I need help!! Any Ideas!?

DO NOT DO THAT! I've seen that before on cars and let me tell you, it is EXTREME GHETTO! Good luck EVER selling that car in the future. You can't even take the whees off and resell them separate from the car because you won't have a full set and NOBODY buys "just" two wheels for anything other than replacements. The ONLY people trying this are guys who run their own wheel shops and they do it (at lesat partically) to show others what the wheels CAN (not should) look like on a car. Your just throwing cash away if you buy two of each set for each side.

If you have a NBP/WDP, IMHO, the black w/ chrome lip would be nice. Otherwise, all chrome is the way to go!

If you do the 2 Chrome on the Left and the 2 Black on the Right, maybe nobody will notice.


All chrome = Lux/VIP

All Black = Stealth/Sporty

Black/Chrome Lip = a little of both.


I'd go Stealthy, but that's just me.

np - You would be surprised at the number of guys that seriously consider things like this (and trying to put 22's on the car) on this forum. Without the emoticons we don't know your joking.

BTW - My car looks nearly identical to anzbo's that Bearcat posted (I just don't have rain sheilds on mine). They do look good and are cheap (around $150/wheel) but they aren't the hardest metal (I have minor bends in 3 of mine and I am careful)

Bearcat posted Aznbo's Black TL ^^^ above ^^^ this 7 posts up. It has the PRIVAT NETZ, not Seva's (Read the bottom of the pic for verification). That is what I also have on mine and they are the ones that are around $150/wheel.

There is one thing wrong in his caption though. the tires are 245/35, not 245/45

well if you want to get an idea of what the black will look like take a look at ed99's car.... i think its just sick and looks sporty/ custom. Chrome will look good because of the contrast but everyone and their mamma's has chrome. see if you were smart you'd trade the NBP in for WDP like and then we could practically be twins!! lol

Do yourself a favor and go hyper silver with a chrome lip. The Sevas S-star would look real nice on your car.
