I was on a roadtrip to Cali from Seattle. Changed my oil filled all the fluids, checked the belts. Everything was fine, half way through the trip I pulled in to the gas station to get something to drink. I came back out to start my car and nothing. I turn the key everything lights up as normal when I turn it to start Nothing. It does not turn over no clicks nothing.


so far I checked the following

-Every fuse three times

-fuel does get to the injectors

-no plugs that looked or felt unplugged




I'm stuck.

How do you know fuel doesnt get to the injectors?

If there is no cranking or any thing my firs guess would be starter, especially seeing you get the dash lights and every thing else.

Sounds like a low battery. Enough for the dashboard to light up, but not enough to crank the starter.

thanks you where right fsttyms1 it was the starter i replaced it last night and it fired right up.

now problem number two. After i replaced the starter the whole car shakes under acceleration. took it to get all the wheels checked they are all straight and balanced. Maybe an axle hope not.

When replacing the starter, your battery's power was more than likely disabled. This may've caused the car's computer to default and it'll need to "relearn" the internal settings for things like the idle runability. Possibly this could be the shaking sensation you're experiencing. Before the starter went bad, the computer was compensating for conditions, masking component issues.
