Hey guys,
I recently got the "Wiper Motor Recall". I didn't think I needed it, but the new power behind these blades is a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, the inception point between the top end of the driver's side wiper and the edge of the windshield changed and now it overlaps by approximately 1/2-1 inch... So now my wipers are battling my window seal / paint job, which I don't appreciate... This also comes along with a decent amount of noise.
My question is, how do you adjust the maximum angle of the wiper? Or re-center it so that it doesn't try off roading on my clear coat?
Thanks,
Rob

I would go back to the dealer to have them readjust it for you. They worked on it last so it is their problem.

I think they may have put the wrong wipers on, or that the arm was set one click to far. I had the arm set one click to far, and they had to take it off and re-adjust it.

More reason for you to take it back to them....this way their is documentation. The downfall is your time.
Yeah, I just really don't have any time to go to the dealership. IE call - Wait 1.5 weeks for an appt. then take a half day off from work... to get my wiper re-aligned haha.
If it's possible to DIY I'll probably just do it. Anyone know how?

RON A posted it for me, its pretty simple Loosen the bolt on the problem wiper arm and pull up, it should become a little loose, and then move it down a little and re-tighten the bolt.Originally Posted by RobxMcCarthy
