Windshield Wiper Vibrations Felt Through the Brake Pedal

It's been raining a lot here in Los Angeles lately, and I have noticed in my 05 TL AT Nav that when ever I use my windshield wipers I can feel the wiper motions through my brake pedal. There is a lot of bumper to bumper traffic in L.A. so when I'm at a stop and my foot is on the brake and the wipers are on I can feel the wiper motor vibration on the brake pedal. At first I thought it was something else but then I increased the speed of the wipers and it mirrored the frequency and amount of vibrations on the brake pedal. Very strange, has anybody else experienced this?

i would like to guess that the wiper motor is mounted around the same area of the firewall as to where your brake pedal is mounted...

First the wiper motor is mounted to the fire wall just like the brake pedal and power booster. Secondly the windsheild on the TL is very big. The driver wiper blade is 26 inches long. The longest blade on the market right now belongs to a Dodge caraven which is 28 inches long, so it takes a strong motor to move the wipers. I woudn't be that concerned about it.

Yea i notice this too and knew it was normal but kinda cheap of the car to do this. It does get annoying to me in stop and go traffic during raining days

I definitely feel it too, mostly when on intermittent, then it stands out. Assumed it was normal.

I think it has something to do with when you take your foot off the brake in intermittent mode, the windshield wipers wipe. Maybe there's a physical connection between the two?
