Windows and Gremlins
So I was wondering if anyone had any advice. My wife and I purchased a used Acura (2008 TL) still under warantee about a month ago and when she reported this problem I thought at first she was mistaken, two that she was going insane.... but.... we'll park the car with the windows "up" go into a restaurant or store and come out and the windows (sometimes just the drivers, sometimes all and sometimes all including the moonroof!) are down 1-2". I saw it myself today and I can emphatically state that we did not have them lowered when we left the car.
Anyone heard of this?
We fortunately have 15K in warantee left so I am going to bring it to the Acura dealership, but if anyone has had a similiar experience this will help my explaining of the issue.

This can happen if your wife is pressing the "unlock" more than once in quick succession as she approaches the car. In that case, there is no gremlin, just a design feature.
The feature is detailed in the owner's manual, which can also be viewed on-line by registering at myacura.com.
Welcome to AZ.
Will explained this perfectly, and I second exactly what he said. I have to explain this to one or two customers a month at work, especially since all our cars have this feature. And as Will said, congrats on the purchase and welcome
its a feature to assist in cooling down to car after being parked outside
You approach with arm full of bags-hit the remote twice, the windows go down and sunroof to vent position--sweeet!
the owner manual is a wealth of information- things you really need to know about operating the vehicle -ac system-traction control and intertwined braking system--
thats right- I said Vehicle!- its no mere car~
