Windows Down By Themselves

Just got a 2008 TL Type S, its about 3 weeks old. i always make sure that my car is shut tight and locked with the windows up before i leave it. for the last few days, there have been times that i come back to my car after being away and the windows are cracked about an inch. however it is never both the front and rear windows at the same time, its one or the other and it varies. Has anyone had this problem?

how close are you to ur car when its parked? do u mess with ur key fob (remote)? if you push the unlock button twice and hold it for a bit the windows begin to roll down, usually fronts start first. could be the problem. they roll down for as long as u hold the button, holding it for a short period cracks them open a little.hope this helps

Could also be that someone else's remote or garage door opener are on the same frequency as your fob, and every time they hit the button your windows mysteriosly come alive. But I'd call the dealer and see what they say. If it's not something like you or your kids messing with your own remote, there's an issue.

Well, i knew about that feature but it doesnt seem to be that because if i hold down the button, it cracks all four windows. so far its only been either the front two or rear two. thank you anyway

There was an acura tech on here that explained the problem. I had it too. There's a controller in the door that goes bad, it also ties in with the battery going dead or getting low overnight.

I got the same problem and this seems to be the most logical answer. When ever I roll the windows up they hit there peak and when i release the window button it immedietly drops a cm or two also if i drive for a while they will gradually go down especially when i hit a bump. So imo its either a battery dieing or the grip on the window is getting loose.
