window up/down noise vertical window strip

recently, upon opening and closing the window. I've been hearing this screetching noise. Seems to happen when the window reaches halfway.
I've narrowed it down the the rubber weatherstrip that runs vertically in the door. This is on my drivers door. I took a flash light and shined it in there towards the front.
I can see the weatherstrip is a bit worn and want to replace it.

Is this an easy swap?

The method I use to determine this was:
I waited until the car was completely dry.
Used my spray bottle and sprayed on the horizontal weatherstrip in about 3 inch segments.

Eventually when I reached the front part of the weatherstrip ( vertical one ) I sprayed it with water and upon opening and closing the window. THe noise went away.
lol

Perhaps all you need to do is spray a little Aerospace 303 protectant in there.

^...I've been reading to use a silicone based spray.
Jig-A-Lube or something like that.
I'll swing by autozone and ask someone there to help me source this kind of lubricant.

thanks

I saw Jig-A-Loo at Advanced Auto Saturday. They may be a better product for this issue.
