I wanna restore the look of the gloss window trim on my tl any ideas either diy or if they make covers or something for these.. I was thinking about sanding the clear coat down in that area and just recoating the clear coat? Thank you so much in advance.

The trim is coated in vinyl wrap and you can rewrap them yourself. I've done it and there are DIY threads here on how to do it. I used 3M vinyl from amazon; use a heat gun and the old film will peel very easily. No heat and you'll struggle a lot with it.
