What's up guys, I got a new one today... Pulled up at work and put my drivers window down to smoke before I went in the building. Upon doing so my window let out this....sound it was a combination of like a groan and scraping. I don't think it's the track as I'm real big on keeping them sprayed with Honda silicone spray every oil change to prolong regulator life. Window still works fine other then the occasional auto up stops and drops back down 4 inches lol. Any thoughts before I go rippin it apart?

 

mine makes the same noise,the front passenger side, drives me crazy no idea what is it. My window would drop down a bit on the auto, but i had to disconnect the battery for something, after that it goes all the way up.

 

its the window regulator, VERY common problem on TL's. you can open up the regulator and grease up the insides, it'll help, but only until you need to grease them again

 

What exactly does this entail, taking off the door card to get to the regulator and then just spraying the hell out of it with silicone spray or something?
