Window Noise

I got the car, no noise. A few days later, a rattle/squeeking noise when the driver's window is all the way up. Drives me nut since it's right in my ear. I roll the window down... gone. It's only over rough roads or bumps. If I press on the top of the window when it's up, makes the noise.

Anyone else experience this? Think silicone lubricant would fix it?

Fairly common; the dealership will start out with lubricant as well.
I used 303 Aerospace on the seals/gaskets to quiet down the occasional squeaks/creaks from my TL's driver-side window.

Go to the Chev dealer and ask for thier silicone emulsion ($5) and spread it on and rub it in on all the weather stripping.. works and lasts.

Sprays don't last ..this done.

If the weather stripping gets dry the window puckers it up when closing causing the leak.

apply felt to the inside weather strip. it will silents the sqeaks and it will protect your tint from scratching.

07 TL,

How would you apply felt to the inside of the weather strip?

Yes, I know lol I was just being clear what the sound was and that it probably wasn't the window itself. Cheers.

I have the complete opposite problem. I get this stupid rattle when my driver's side window is down. Only when its open. Like something is loose or some crap.

PEACE!

to install the moleskin(felt) you're gonna have to remove the door panel and then just take off the weather strip which is attach to the door panel. its a super easy install. took me like 20 minutes to install all 4 of my windows.
