Window Locking Button

Hey guys, I did a search and couldn't find anything regarding the window locking button.

Today I noticed a problem, unless it's not supposed to work the way I had expected. I could open the other three windows from the driver's control. My wife couldn't open the passenger window either. So I thought maybe the window locking button was pressed.

I depress it and the driver's side can open all windows.

I thought the driver could open all windows when the locking button is pressed, to prevent kids from opening their windows?

Do I have an electrical problem? I just noticed it today... I'm pretty sure no one had pushed that window locking button.

Can anyone confirm whether the driver can open all four windows regardless if the window lock-out button is pushed?

When you push it down 3 of the 4 lights should go off. This means that when the window lock is activated only the driver can control just the drivers window. All other windows are unable to open.

For some reason, I recalled that other vehicles still allowed the driver to be able to open all windows but to lock-out the passengers.

Thanks for clarifying.

Good to know this was not an electrical issue.
