Wind/road noise with window up

The roads were wet here today and I heard a lot of road and wind noise. I could hear the water hitting the inner fender or whatever. Strange thing was that when I just bumped the drivers side window down a little bit (maybe 1/8") the wind/road noise went away. It seems that when the window is all the way up it pushes the door panel away from the door and allows a bunch of noise in. Anybody else notice this? I hate to have to bump my window down all the time just to have a quiet ride.

Any tips or advice is appreciated.

Same feature on my 2007 TL-S. You can see that the lower window seal swells outward when the window is shut "too much." This allows the wind noise in. I have come to accept that this will happen no matter what and probably is not worth the dealership hassle to get it fixed. You just have to bump the window down. This also happened to my Lexus last year. Lexus service replaced the entire window trim, but it still had the same feature with additional door scratches and a door rattles...three trips later (backordered parts for both front windows). Maybe Acura is different, but I think window trim is not something they keep in local inventory.

Good to know that Lexus has the same issues. I guess a bump down it is.
