Will 05 06 tranny fit 04

Will 05 06 tranny fit 04

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ive sorta asked the question before a few times just not exact. Will a 05 or a 06 tranny fit exactly or bolt perfectly with no recoarse? I called Acura and they have different part # for 04 05 and 06. I asked if there is any manual or way to find out they told me no? SO has anyone did a swap from a 05 to 04 or 06 to 04? I will be getting a tranny soon and want to go with 06 if it will work 100% no guessing this would be a big purchase don't want to go with a hunch, you guys know like the dyno's that never existed.

im not sure whether or not they fit each other...my guess would be yes. i know that acura is not a transmission specialist....(if anything goes wrong with your transmission they wont fix it, they'll just replace it) so i wouldnt call acura....ill investigate tho and get back to u hopefully soon

he has a `modded beyond allowable` TL, no way warranty will take care of it~
Has slipping- the ~normal~ trans failure when driven like an escaped mental patient

So he is trying to find out if there is an actual differance in the 05-06 trans that makes it better than the 04, and if so will it bolt up

My guess is some and no

If it helps you at all, the service manuals for the '04 and the '06 show no differences at all. Part numbers are different, but I can't imagine why.
