i know for sure its not the heat shield. i thought it was at first so i removed the heatshield and checked for any loose-ness. nothing. so i put it back, all bolts on tight and secure.

okay guys so i did another test and finally confirmed it. i had my car up on jack stands and started the car for the first time of the day. the noise happened, i immediately got under the car, and found out the problem. its the stock j-pipe! its rattling inside the flex pipe. i could hold the jpipe firmly and the noise would stop. i dont see any tears on the flex section so im not sure whats inside.
im going to remove the j-pipe and maybe see what is rattling inside.

makes sense cause i cant hear it under the hood, only on sides, but i have yet to go under the vehicle. if u can hear your pulleys and know its comin from the pulley then tenion pulley TSB B08-049 should fix that.
