Wheel Bearing

Wheel Bearing
A few months ago I began hearing a "woo woo" sound coming from my wheels as they roll over. I brought my car to get the wheels rotated and balanced but the sound never went away. I was told by the mechanic at Strauss that my rims were bent and that was the cause of the noise. I bought a used set of factory oem rims that came with tires and replaced the wheels and tires I had on the car. The noise went away. Recently I noticed I crack in the sidewall of one of the front tires so I decided to replace the two front tires with the ones that I had taken off. After putting back on the original front tires the noise came back. Could this be problem with the tires themselves or a bad wheel bearing? Or maybe even a bent rim?

maybe a seperated tire???? or check for cuppping on the inner or outer edge of the tire. i had that when i first got my car. the alignment was out causing the cupping. have your alignment checked and get some good tires.

+1, put on a smoke show with those screwed up tires, they'll be no good for anybody else. burn them up and end them with a nice burnout.heheheh
i personally have the general exclaim UHP, and i find them pretty comfortable. and they are not that expensive either. not like a michelin where its like 300 dollars(cnd) for a tire.
