What do I do now, scratched up ASM 06 TL

Over the winter I got a few miscellaneous scratched on my bumper because of idiots that can't park. But recently I was the idiot that switched lanes late on the williamsburg and now I have to pay. My front right bumper, fender and passenger side rear door got damaged.
This is from grazing the watter drum separating the on ramp lanes.

scratched to the black meat

go this one two says after getting her, and there is an actual dent.

My trouble is where do I go for great repair results. A local shop cheaper but unknown work? What would the dealer do send it out to a body shop they work with for great results? A guy in Flushing Qns. told me most shops use PPG paint because of the cheap factor and it looks like factory. Is it possible to get actual factory paint?

it duznt look too bad... try to polish out whatever u can with compound/polish ... then if the bumper doesnt look too bad, maybe u can contact one of those mobile repair shops that repairs slight damage to ur bumper.

itll be a lot cheaper then refinishing both panels at a body shop

i'll echo VQ and tell you that PDR (paintless dent repair) is the way to go. i got a nasty door ding/crease from another cars door hitting mine. PDR came out and ta-da! no more ding. can't even tell i had one to begin with. it's pretty amazing what those guys can do. reasonably priced too.

It's amazing what you can do with rubbing compounds and what those PDR guys can do. I had a nasty one on my CL that creased over part of where the molding changed shape (was by the back window) and PDR fixed and restored it to it's original condition. Even 4 years later there is not residual effects.

Did I shoot myself in the foot

its been a while azine. just a quick update and maybe you :twocents:
So on Saturday the family and I took Baltimore trip over the weekend came back late Sunday night. Hit tons of bugs on the way down and back (doing 80+ most of the time even more in someplaces, thankfully i did not get pulled over and no help of a V1). So Monday I wanted to definitely get all that protein off as quick as possible. After washing the car on the street with the help of an open hydrant from kids playing in the water. This guy drives by and asks "Do you want to get rid of that dent?", I'm thinking duh, I ask how much to entertain the guy with a woman in the front seat and a gang of kids in the back of an Outback. So he then asks "is there more" I said yes. he parks looks at the car then starts telling me he's done body work for 22years and he has tools in the hatch to get that all out for me on the spot.

Did I shoot myself in the foot. pt 2

At this point he's already took out this tin can of lacquer an rubs it on a bruised panel that looked far worst before. Furs and scratch swirls gone. So i'm like this dude saids he work and x and y shop on Queens BLvd, I want those scratches and the dent gone, in the next few weeks, if it goes in the shop I'm getting the full work done, detail and my A-specs i Just don't have solid income. so he quotes me $360 to get it all done well most of it. He gets a mallet, that and a tool he put behind the fender and started hammering to release the tension in the dent. he gets most of it out then starts sanding, there's still a crease so he saids he will be packing it, this is what the shop would just fill it and paint. I'm thinking what did I do. But he gets a duplicolor primer sealer spray paint , then he whips out a can of duplicolor perfect match (for Toyotas ) which he actually left with me. He saids in about 6-7days get a carwash with a hotwax and the shine will look just the same.

I had a fear of body shops which I think this guy off the street just popped my cherry and made me face that fear. When I do get back on my feet my car is going in the shop for Aspec fitting and get the proper work done on the rear left panel that he spray painted. I'm no longer afraid of the quality of work that could be done, because I think thats what I just got. I'm just sharing my stupidity IMO but if this fixes work for you. Kudos. My gut tickles every time I think about it. I'll post pick for you all to see.
