I know I know... GM FM MTF will SOLVE the problem 100% for 3rd gear issue
However, I'm at 30k miles with no extended warranty, so I'll wait until my warranty is over before I move on to GM, because I don't want to deal with dealer arguing over the MTF and warranty issue..

Anyways, I recently had 1st gear issue, where it pops out.. I mean literally pops out... so I took my car for service..

According to the service rep, they pretty much re-built the transmission.. (I will post the parts they ordered and replaced from the invoice later) Now, my question is I'm not so sure about rebuilding the transmission.. I know it will not solve my 3rd gear issue (maybe will fix 1st gear issue).. should I worry for anything?

Since I only drove around 10 miles so far, I don't know any issues with it yet..

Wow.
Up till now we thought they were bulletproof except for the 3rd gear issue.
Do you drive it hard?

i don't drive hard.. but it only happened when i'm going down hill on 1st gear around 5mph for about 20 seconds and would pop out

btw... i haven't seen my 3rd gear issue for about a week.. that is not to say it doesn't happen.. but we'll see after few months... i will more than likely switch over to GM FM MTF
