Exclamation SEVERE Swerve Caused By VSA Mulfunction

In spite of the endless rattles, I used to be very fond of my 05 TL until this morning. Going about 70mph on the freeway on my way to work when all of sudden, the whole car started shaking and violently swerved half way into the lane on my right and then swerved back again overshooting me half way onto the left shoulder. It felt like the right brakes just applied themselves when my foot was no where near the brake. Scared the hell out of me - if someone was in the lane next to me, it could have been very nasty. I was just happy to be having both hands on the wheel. Of course the VSA and Triangle warning lights came on.

Something similar happened to me about 3 months ago and I complained to the dealer (Rick Case Acura in Plantation FL), who pretty much shrugged it off and implied it was either something in the road or my driving.

So, after the incident this morning, I went straight back to the dealer and spoke to the service manager, while the warning lights were still on. He said he had never heard of anything like this/ He immediately got a mechanic over and they plugged it in to the computer. So, they have now narrowed it down to either the yaw sensor or ABS modulator.

Has anyone else had this incident happen to them? I am now at the stage with this car where I almost just want to get rid of it. What is the best way to get it replaced? Do I have a case? I bought it CPO.

most likely it is a bad module. In florida, lemon laws only apply to new cars. What you can do is call acura client services and tell them about this incident and how rick case shruged it off the first time. CPO really doesn't mean that much nowdays as so much junk can malifunction in cars.

my VSA light comes on every once in a while when i press the brakes in about over 70% pressure, my warranty is done... this first started happening when a retart in one of those trailer sized vans cut me off very badly. If it wasn't for brembo brakes, my car would have been pinned between a wall and that asshole. That was the most pissed i'd ever been... anyone have any suggestions or similar problem? check brakes? wheel hub?

sorry for hijacking, its just that i kinda need a little help on VSA too..
