Weird Sound and Battery Issue

So I’ve had my Acura for a few weeks. When I first got it all was fine. It’s been sitting for about 3 weeks and if periodically turn it on and drive it around my before I got my tags. not there is a loud squeak coming from the timing belt and the battery has completely died (can’t even unlock from the key fob) I had jump start it twice within 30 minutes. The battery is new so i’m not sure what that issue is. Anyone else have this problem?

the battery is draining from a parasitic draw. could be the infamous HFL(Hands Free Link) parasitic draw, or it could be another draw from somewhere else...you'll need to chase down where it's drawing from.

the squeal is a bad tensioner.

Ive heard about the hands free link drain the battery. I didn’t think it was an issue because I didn’t seem to work when I pressed the buttons. Thank you tho

Check the alternator.
The sound is one of the pulleys - not easy to figure out which one.

It is your HFL drawing against it. Basically it is running in the background. Mechanic can turn it off, but then you don't have handsfree link access. I replaced mine as I got sick of my battery draining. Replacing it cured the problem.
