i have a 2007 tl and when i take off from a stop my car makes a weird creaking noise . It only does it right on take off. The noise comes from the front end. Also if sitting in park and i just tap to gas there is a slight clunk noise i can hear and feel kind of in the pedal. it just started doing this a few days ago does anyone have any ideas?

 

broken motor mount??

 

That's possible because a few days ago i hit the worst pothole i think ive ever hit in my life. How do i tell if its the motor mount? I have no idea where they are located.

 

Well, all bets are off now that I know that. Could also be suspension. You probably need to have it looked at.

Do a search, there is at least one DIY on replacing motor mounts and tons of threads on them.
