hey guys, every time i start my car in the morning and it is cold some type of weird noise comes from my engine. i think it has to with something from the power steering because when i turn my steering wheel you hear it more. any suggestions what it could be?

 

Dont Stess its a ex fix ….search o-ring …its a ez diy and only cast a few dollars ..

Seems like everyone's o-rings are going bad. Luckily it's a pretty easy fix that works.

 

I have a weird noise in the morning (whether it is cold or not, it's been 100 degrees here in south TX) when I accelerate and it gets worse when I turn the wheel. Is this the same problem? I have an 06 TL I just bought a week ago!

 

Likely is the same problem. If you replace it and it doesn't solve the issue, then you're out a whopping $.75 or so. Replace it and see what happens.

Can someone describe the sound they are hearing?... My 08TL starting making a noise over the last few days (hasnt been that cold to be honest) and it goes away after about 30 seconds... almost like a squeal but not screetching. I can barely hear it from inside the car bur from outside its very loud.
