Hi everybody,

I got a acura tl type-s 2007 manual transmission.

I’ve got a weird moaning sound coming from the front, probably left side when I’m doing a turn. What is strange is that when I turn and the sound is happening, if I put the car in neutral (car still moving) the sound goes away.

I’ve got this youtube video I uploaded: you can hear a grinding noise at first, this is not the problem i’m trying to solve. You will hear after the grinding noise a “moaning sound” , almost when a dog is disappointed and make a moaning sound . Sorry I can’t think of a better explanation haha

I don’t think it’s a power steering sound issue but i’m not a mechanic so I could be wrong

How many miles on car? Sounds like maybe your CV joint is going out.

The car has 120 000 miles . One of the CV was changed last year , I’ll have to check for what side
