I have an 08 type-s. 163k miles Had it for a couple months now and still learning. First Acura. This has happened a couple times. When making a sort of aggressive left turn.... half way thru the turn the interior lights come on ,doors unlock (As if I put it park) then go back to normal after the turn.
I hope im not the only one that has had this issue???? Sensor?

Right door isn't adjusted properly. You'll have to examine to see which one it is (front or rear) if you stare at the MID you should see one of the doors 'opening'. Door needs to be adjusted to put constant pressure on sensor. If alignment looks good, then the sensor itself may be bad.

There is a button which the door presses when shut.... My angry gf slammed my door one time in my old TL and broke the panel where the button hits... I had that same problem in that car.... Inspect those areas

I have this issue as well..........usually when I have someone shitting shotgun and they put some weight onto their door. Causes the door to move which makes the car think the door is open, hence the lights turning on. Its a problem with how the sensor is aligned.......there is a DIY on here somewhere. If someone happens to find it, please link it here. Its about time I take care of this lol
