Weak remote

I'm not sure if this is just me, but my car remote is super weak

I literally have to stand as close as 5 feet away for my doors to unlock or to pop my trunk. I tried replacing the battery in the remote, but its still weak. Is there a way to fix this? Or is this how all TL's are? I have an 05' by the way.

speaking of tint, does my 5% tint block radio/xm/navigation signals at all? everything works fine but jw if its theoretically blocking it.

Mine is the same way too

Figured the battery must be low, but I haven't gone through the trouble of changing it...dont mind waving my arms around like an idiot to unlock the car :P

You have to open your mouth and place the remote under your chin and it will increase your range!
There was a thread on this a while back.

Sorry. It was a useless post for you.
Anyway, you might try another battery. That particular size can sit on the shelves for while so make sure it is a new set.
You could switch to the other fob to see if it is any better.
Another option is the switchblade key from Heeltoe.com.

EDIT: HA! Found the thread!
