Water Leaks into Control Box

I have a new 2006 TL. My car was parked outside and it was raining. After a few hours the alarm goes on and I use my remote to turn it off. I park my car in the garage and lock the car and the same thing happens - alarm goes on. The MID kept on saying that one of the doors is open when they were all closed. I drive my car to a local dealership and when I am driving the ABS, VSA, TPMS lights all come on. Sorry, to make the long story short...

According the technician water leaked inside and went into the control box. They are trying to figure out where the water leaked from.

Has anyone had this problem? My car has is with the dealership since Monday.

I heard another person in the forum say that their A/C condensation leaked onto/into the control module.

See the Weird Electrical Problem thread. There are at least two of us out there dealing with similar problems. My car is on its third visit to the dealer.

I had the ac condensor leak into the "pcm". My car wouldn't turn over at all. The dealership had to replace the pcm, and spark plugs. They had no answer why this happened or that it wouldn't happen again. Hope this helps. I am looking for the work order sheet to see if there any details.

have you had the windshield replaced recently? If so, the seal on the windshield may be bad and cause water to leak inside the car.
