I just got back from honda dealer after getting an oil change.
they informed me that my trans mount needs to be replaced

i have 2007 tl with 63000 miles, out of bb warranty. does anyone know if mount would be covered under power train warranty?

Yeah, it's warrantied as part of the 6-yr/70,000 Power Train Warranty. I had mine done a couple months back, well past the 4-year mark and well past 50,000 miles.

Engine mounts are actually specifically listed as covered in the Owners Manual. (Edit: Ehhh, strike that. Must be in the Warranty Booklet. You can veiw the warranty coverage at http://owners.acura.com/Warranty/Warranty.aspx - another link worth saving).

thats a big relief. i was also informed i have an oil leak and i need to replace compliance bushings ....thats just wonderful since i went out of bb two months ago
