I use: Maguire's carnauba Wax. That stuff is fantastic! It really is a long lasting wax I must say. It still looks pretty good after it rains over night.

when the rain/water hose stops making that pretty formation of beads down the paint is usually when I get on the other end of a buffer

I maintained my 93 integra with meguiars products. Before winter, after winter and in the middle of the summer, I would do a three step (paint cleaner, polish, pure carnauba wax). Since the original owner had the car in Texas, and I assume didn't wax it often, the only problem I had with that paint was fade (milano red). There wasn't a swirl or water mark on it, 16 year old car mind you. I would imagine the paint isn't as durable these days do to environmental precautions, maybe even thinner, idk. It would be a shame if an early 90's economy car had a more durable paint job than a late 00's luxury car.
