driving today went to accelerate and the VSA light came on. car seemed for about 10 seconds tolose power but then went back to normal. VSA light and check engine light stayed on until I reached my destination. when I restarted the VSA LIGHT WENT OUT BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS STILL ON. I have 107,000 miles on my 04' TL. ANY ANSWERS FOR ME?

 

Did you get the code checked from the check engine light? If you get the code read and it's P2138 then time for a new APP(Accelerator Pedal Position) sensor. Here is the DIY.

I was just doing research on the APP sensor and people were reporting the same issue you had: check engine light and VSA light concurrently, potential limp mode.

The APP sensor is like $150 and is a 15-45 min fix depending on your experience working on cars. Get the code read at AutoZone or Advanced Auto and that will tell you for sure what is happening.
