VSA Light on
VSA Light on
Just returned back from a 800 mile road trip this weekend. This morning, had the VSA indicator light up, which was not initiated by me pressing the button.
Drove 400 miles back home today and took it to the Acura dealer. The tech got in the car and was able to pull up the fault codes on the Nav Screen. (Anyone know how to do this?)
They're going to check it out and hopefully have this fixed tomorrow.
Anyone have ideas how this occurred? The car sat all day yesterday in the parking lot and acted up within 2 minutes of driving it today. Strange...

Thanks for the help! And thanks for the ownders manual too. Y'all are awesome.
I should have probably posted earlier what the solution was.
Dealer kept the car overnight, they advised that a fuse had blown and all it needed was a new fuse. I guess the next question would be is what caused the fuse to blow so early in this car's life?

A few days later the VSA light came on. It seems to run just fine though it could use an alignment.

I have a similar issue, but I think it is diff. I drive down the road and the ! light VSA light and check engine light all go on.....and it starts running rough. I turn it on and off and it runs fine. Check eng light will stay on for a few restarts....I think that is normal. My guess is that a VSA sensor is faulty, and the system detects false slippage and starts cutting back the power.
Anyone have this issue? Like to know how to pull up the codes on the nav system. Going in to the shop for oil change soon, so I guess I will find out then.

I checked my fuses under the hood for the VSA system and they are both fine. The triangle is lit up all the time. The VSA light comes on after about one minute of driving, every time. I can't control the VSA system with the switch in the cabin so I am wondering if maybe I have a bad switch and that is making it bad. We checked the cars computer and it's not throwing any error codes.
Could some other possibilities be bad sensors at the wheels or a bad VSA switch in the cabin?
Any other possibilities anybody can think of?
