today on the way home from work my 2005 tl started acting up. when slowing down and coming to a stop, the engine would start to stutter then smooth out and be fine again under acceleration. it happened at every red light on the way home until the last one when the vsa light came on the check engine light and the "!" light all at the same time..the engine sounded awful and kind of bucked and stuutered....i limped home...not sure what could cause this...any ideas? what to look for?

Should start by getting the codes checked out first.... autozone for other car shops can give a free run...

its really running harsh though now hardly excelerates..lil skeptical of driving anywhere

drove over to autozone today to have codes checked. car ran fine...vsa light went away but cel is still on. found the code: U0107 throttle control module lost communication or something. not much about this code on here and def no fix any ideas...wondering y it went into limp mode the other day but ok now?

Same thing happened to my car today. Hopefully i can get an appt. soon to get this checked out. If you have any new info please update. I will do the same. thanks
