Hi guys, im new here, im form mexico and i have a 2007 TL with the 3.2l engine, i bought it about 2 years ago with around 82k miles and its now about 92k miles.

The only problem:
Like half a year ago i was driving normally around 40mph in the city and sudenly VSA and check engine ligths turned on, but also in the transmission position lights, the Drive (D) light started to blink, so i stopped the car, put transmission in Parking position and restarted it by turning it off and on again, VSA turned off, D light were normal again and check remained on for like 2 o 3 times i drove the car, then it went off by its own, its like it registered a failure but restarting the car would correct the problem, had the same problem 1 more time recently, did the same procedure and worked again. The car has always have a rough shifting from parking to drive position, i've been told to change transmission fluid and i will, i heard about this 3x3 quarter change and will do so if it helps.

Has any of you had this problem exactly the same way? i've read here about the tps being a problem like this and mine was changed before i bought the car, like 5k miles before, also i have made it checked with a scanner in every service and everything looks normal as for the mechanic, havent had any trouble of anything else but this.

i hope to know more about this and more about this cars that are simply amazing, i love mine, very very nice cars.

99% chance it's the APP sensor. 1% chance it's the MAF sensor. Link for APP sensor DIY below.
