one of the wheel sensors may be faulty, go to the dealer and have it checked out.

Conditions were normal....dry roads & sunny! It had rained the a few days ago in the Dallas area. I had just washed my car & I noticed the warnings on the way to the store....weird huh?

How much do you think it will cost if it's a sensor?

Same issue.

Same thing happen to me. It's fixed now. I had an independent shop fixed my speed sensor that cost over $200. It only got rid of the ABS indicator, not the VSA. So I had to go to the dealer for that. Here is my post on it.

I think it has to do with the transmission

its often a trans warning signal, but can also mean a broken speed sensor at a wheel - or water got in and shorted it out , or the car was lowered or brake job and wire-sensor was damaged

Just like codes- they are only clues of things to check

Yeah I thought the same thing, because my tranny and clutch was acting weird before I got the sensor fixed. Now they are working fine.

Vsa & Abs

Well, here's the fix when the VSA & ABS indicator lights come on my TL.

I took my TL to the dealer, & after their diagnostic test. They determined it was a speed sensor. So they replaced the speed sensor located in the driver's side rear wheel. Replacing the sensor fixed the problem & the indicator lights (VSA & ABS) did not come on!

It was raining a few days before the problem occurred so the sensor must have shorted out. That's the only thing that I can think that caused the problem.

The cost for the repairs was $225.00. The part only cost $26.80.
