Very Strange Thing Happened To My Ac Today

Well I start my car and go to the store with AC blowing on fan speed 3 73 degrees. Works perfectly fine all the way to the store. I park my car go in store get what I needed and come back outside to find 2 shopping carts on my front bumper. Man I wish people have some respect and common sense to put carts away and make sure they don't hit other people cars, Dam.

That wasn't the major problem I just had to throw that in here. When I got back in my car and started my vechicle about 5 sec later I noticed there was no air blowing through my vents. I tried voice commands, turning the fan off/on, changing fan speed and nothing. I'm like wtf is this now. Its not working for 15 minutes now. I floor the car a little, then the ac kits back in. What was the poroblem what would cause this and should I still get it checked out? Very strange like I said.

i am by no means an electrical engineer but what i do know...is that if you drive with your AC on you lose power from your engine, meaning your A/C works off of your engine. so most likely when you floored it you kicked the A/C out of whatever funk it was in. so you probably sparked a loose wire or false wire. so i would get it checked out if the problem persists. i never complain about a problem unless its continuous.

I notice this to a lesser degree and I argue it's a GOOD thing when working properly. My AC doesn't seem to fully kick in until I have revved the engine a little. I think this protects it becuase you don't want to start up the car and have the AC tax the engine immediately. However it should be full blast as soon as you start to back out of a space or pull out IMO.

Unhappy Air conditioner problem

My ac just stopped blowing cold air this morning. It went out for about 60 seconds. i put the fan on high and about 30 seconds after that, it came on? then i drove to work and just before i got to work, it was blowing hot air again. i have 54000 miles on it already. (i drive alot!) i called the dealer and they are already saying i am going to have to pay for the problem. thanks alot for the support acura. if thats going to be the norm i will just trade it in for a lexus GS430. Unreal. anybody else have this problem? its not a fuse i can tell you that.

Warranty is warranty, if u are a mile over or a day over you are not covered UNLESS you complained and his this issue before and brought it up to the dealer.

no, i did not complain previously. My car is being looked at as I type. I did not bring it to the dealer. I know if its 50001 miles that the warranty is expired. its just that it is a sign of poor quality when things start breaking down as the warranty expires. I am just talking mad. for 35 large, I am allowed. I will post the problem later today when i find out what happened. It may just be a small leak. I hope....
