variable steering

2004 Acura TL, steering is loose @ some points and tight @ some points. Started steering feels like it overturns and the car finally catches up to the steering. Now the power steering is intermittent and the steering wheel is completely upside down at strait ahead. Coming into a long curve at a higher speed the steering wheel will come back more than what its actually turned. so confused as to what the issue is??? is it a sensor, is it the VSA, is there a gear box? Any help is appreciated!

First thing I would do is check the PS fluid level. Could be PS pump failing.

Its had some light popping in the steering since i got it in Jan but just recently started these direct steering issues. Some seem to believe that there is teeth broken on the rack causing the oversteer issue and popping noise but while researching this issue ive came across the fact of it having rotary valves in the rack and vsa steering sensor.
