The following switch buttons quit lighting up on my 06 TL.

"INFO" for the trip computer
"CANCEL" for the cruise control
"ACCEL" for the cruise control
"DECEL" for the cruise control
"1" for the seat memory

The INFO button will light up if I press it. I have never owned a car that had this problem. Seems unreasonable. Is this common?

 

Very common problem. Order up some lamps and start replacing them, it's about all you can do. When I bought my care I replaced about 80% of the backlighting in the car. I bought some lamps from Newark electronics and have not had any burn out in the last 6 years/50,000 miles.

 

very common. somewhat easy fix, just takes time. all hondas do this btw

 

Is this something that someone inexperienced could fix? Or is it better to buy the bulbs and have someone install them?

 

I had the same buttons that quit lighting up. I've order my replacement bulbs from here

 

I am just going to live without them lit...not worth fixing it on the aging car. I know where these buttons are at night and no one else drives my car because it's a manual.
