Type-S DEPO Side Marker Install Problems

Read on here how it should only take 10 minutes to install type-s rear side markers. Found out today that is not the case for me. :-( I can get the old one's out and 1 side fully clipped in but they won't fully go in flush for me. What's the secret to getting these installed fully flush like the red originals?

try pushing in from the outside and pulling it in with your other hand on the inside of the trunk. I had similar trouble with mine but you can get it to work.

Thanks for your help. What I had to do was bend the body a bit where the side marker would clip in so that the plastic clips would grab it and hold. All good now, looks so much better! Those red side markers were nasty

mine clicked in, but they're not as flush as the OEMs...but after a few days with them on...you'll forget about it
