Trunk opener does not work anymore

Ok, here's the deal.
2.5 months, 4000 miles on the odometer and my trunk opener from inside of the car does not work anymore. If I try opening it from the remote, everything works perfectly, however once I use the opener inside the car, the trunk would not open.
Does anyone else experience this problem?
Thanks

Heheheh. I had the exact same problem a few months back and it turned out someone accidentally flipped the glove box switch. These things are bound to happen.

Sorry to hear that. It's a visit to the dealer. At least it still opens from the remote. You may be the first own here to report an actual failed trunk release switch. It's probably just a bad switch or relay. Please keep us posted.

Glad to hear that it was something simple. Quick fixes are nice since there's less chance for the tech to scratch up your car. And $30 is what I paid for mine also.
