trouble with high lights

trouble with high lights

i have an 06 tl and when i switch the headlights from low to hi it dosen't light. i've checked with a test light and i don't have 12v just ground. all the fuses are good. did someone had that problem before???

Are you trying to make the light next to the projectors light up? If so the housing next to the projectors are your Fog lights. Those can be turned on with the switch that is located on the same stalk as your headlight switch, about 2inches farther down the stalk.

Your high beams are your projectors, there is a mechanical part that drops down internally when you flick on your high beams that gives you your high beams.

If that isnt the case, then your high beam function may have failed...but that is so unlikely to happen at the same time to both sides, and even if it did your lights would still be on.

Ohhhhhh sorry i was thinking it was the high beam i've turned it on and everything is okay. Thanks a lot man.
