Have a new 2005 tl navi (3400 km on it now) and have noticed what I think might be a problem. The trip computer seems to sit on the 10 - 11 litres per kilometer fuel consumption even if I leave it idling for about 10 minutes. Doesn't seem to change. If I reset the trip then it seems to vary quite frequently until it reaches the 10 - 11 stage and then seems to sit there. This is basically in the city. When hiway driving, the consumption drops to the 7 - 8 litres / 100 km level and then as I drive in the city it rises. The average speed changes (although it takes a while sometimes) and the range remaining in the tank decreases or increases however the consumption seems to be very slow in changing? Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same type of sitiuation or if this is normal?
