Transmission Recall On 3rd Gen?

Hey guys, check this link out. I didn't know there was an official recall on the trannys.

I'm going to bring my TL to the dealer to get them to check out the tranny just for peace of mind. My '04 transmission seems to be happy at the moment with 98k on the odo.

How can a company have their head so far up their ass? How many years have these same trans problems been going on? How many years can it take to fix a problem?

Some advice to Honda: Buy a transmission from the 3 big transmission manufacturers like everyone else does and stop attempting to make your own junk.
