okay so when im in teptronic in my 04 TL, when i give it hell off the start, it use to switch into second for me but for the most part, i would bump it up just incase, but lately i havnt done that and the past 2 days or so, it has not switched into second right away like it use to, now it hits the rev limit for like a second or two and then switches.
has anyone else had any problems like this and if so, whats goin on here!?

are you sure about 2nd gear? the TL 2004-2006 shifts from first to second automatically in SS mode. I think that what has happened is that you used to bump it up to 3rd gear before, but now you don't bump it and it hits the rev limiter and then you upshift. OR you could be bumping it up to late, there is a bit of a delay as it has to check a bunch of sensors then send the command to the transmission.

 

i checked it out today and its not quiet at the rev limiter its more around 5 grand in first gear, like it stutters..
